Dua e Qunoot (Witr Prayer)
Allahumma-hdini fiman hadayt, wa 'afini fiman 'afayt, wa tawallani fiman tawallayt, wa barik li fima a'tayt, wa qini sharra ma qadayt.
"O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided, and strengthen me with those whom You have given strength, take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care, Bless me in what You have given me, Protect me from the evil You have Ordained."
Sunan Abi Dawud 1425
Spiritual Benefits
The Dua Qunoot is a powerful supplication seeking Allah's ultimate guidance, protection, and blessings. It acknowledges Allah's absolute decree and sovereignty over all matters.
When Should I Say This Dua?
It is traditionally recited during the final Rakat of the Witr prayer, after the Ruku (bowing). It is also recited during times of major calamity for the Muslim Ummah (Qunoot an-Nazilah).
Proper Etiquette (Sunnah)
Raise your hands in supplication (like making standard dua) while reciting it. If you do not have it memorized, you may read it from a piece of paper or phone.
