Dua of Prophet Yunus (In the Whale)
لَّا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minadh-dhalimin.
"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
Surah Al-Anbiya 21:87
Spiritual Benefits
This is one of the most powerful duas in Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) said that no Muslim makes this supplication concerning any matter except that Allah will answer them. It acknowledges Allah's perfection and one's own shortcomings.
When Should I Say This Dua?
Recite continuously during moments of extreme anxiety, feeling trapped, or experiencing severe hardship.
Proper Etiquette (Sunnah)
Recite with the same desperation and faith that Prophet Yunus had in the belly of the whale.
