Spiritual Benefits

Making an intention (niyyah) is a prerequisite for fasting. While intention is primarily in the heart, articulating it helps solidify your mental and spiritual preparation for the day of fasting.

When to Read the Suhoor Dua

Recite this after finishing your Suhoor (pre-dawn meal), before the time of Fajr enters.

Proper Etiquette (Sunnah)

It is highly recommended (Sunnah) to delay the Suhoor meal until the last portion of the night.
